I am suffering from Cluster Headache since the age of nine. This has led me to connect with other cluster sufferers, establish deep dialogues, and share expectations and hopes. Cluster sufferers call Cluster Headache “the Beast” because the pain is so acute, but it is only the most evident part of a complex condition. The attacks come without warning, ruining moments and situations in life without any control. However, this project is about hope. It describes a unique suffering from which, inexplicably ability to react, and a desire for the future are born. Photography has an intrinsic ability to communicate what cannot be expressed in words.
Without the beast, probably wouldn’t be so stubborn, curious, thirsty for life, solid.
